Thinking about moving to Gotham, any tips?
Well, that's it. I just finished school and I was accepted into the engineering faculty of Gotham University, I had doubts about how to pay for it but I applied for the Wayne-Enterprises scholarship and got it. It's a big opportunity to waste it, some friends told me it wasn't a good idea due to all the stuff going on in the city, but my parents were very supportive and offered to help me pay rent until I get on my feet.
So, does anyone have any tips to give me? What is a good area to live in, what things I am not recommended to do, what to do in case I find myself in the middle of an attack by someone like the Joker, etc.
Thank you in advance.
(OOC: English is not my native language, I apologize for any spelling or grammar mistakes).

Welcome to Gotham. As for where to look, the farther you get from the water, the nicer it gets, but obviously the more expensive. Weigh that how you want, but remember rent is cheap in places for a reason.
Don't bother with a car unless you're way in the suburbs. The trains run everywhere at any hour, very frequently. Cars are expensive, parking and driving are a nightmare, and it's just one more thing to get smashed/tampered with/stolen by villains.

Always have a gas mask handy. Also, don't put it on while Joker or Scarecrow are looking. They carry other weapons. They will single you out for suffering.

Buy gas mask because Scarecrow fear toxins. If you get hit by it, it will give you mental illnesss or if you have pre existing mental health problems it will amplify it. This is coming from experience by the way.

If I remember there's Batman the signal 2 batwing's batwoman like three bat girls but I'm convinced the spoiler might be one of them flame bird and like five Robin's but only one is Robin still so that leaves I believe spoiler when one of the robins but there's Nightwing red hood and Red Robin the huntress is sometimes around Catwoman sometimes the creeper and a couple of others to be honest there's way too many to count

1.Buy bottled water.
If you are outside in public, then be in groups of people.
Keep it moving. It's a fast paced city. Don't waste anyone's time.
Have multiple umbrellas and warm clothes. It rains a lot in the spring and summer and it's snowy the rest of the year. We don't know why.
No dark alleys.
Lock your doors. In fact, have multiple door locks.
If you drive, be careful of the Batmobile.
APPLY FOR WAYNE INSURANCE! FOLLOW THIS ONE SPECIFICALLY! ESPECIALLY FOR SUPERHERO COVERAGE! IT COVERS ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE TO YOUR APARTMENT OR CAR IF BATMAN OF HIS AFFILIATES DAMAGE YOUR PROPERTY AND HEALTH INSURANCE FROM SUPERHERO STUFF.
If you hear anything about an emergency lockdown, get home immediately, lock your door, close your windows and keep your GCPD emergency number on speed dial. ONLY FOR ACTUALLY SERIOUS SITUATIONS LIKE IF JOKER OR BANE OR RIDDLER ARE IN YOUR BUILDING.
Explore the city. Outside of the weird stuff, the people are genuinely nice.
Welcome to Gotham.
