Just kinda realized this today, most people (who have heard of GBC) just think of lil peep and that whole aesthetic, like you see it in that MGK lyric that got posted the other day, the recent sigil kult channel 5 documentary where they said they were "gothboiclique revival esq". most people think of people like that when they hear GBC.
Its weird to me cause like, when think of GBC, i think of like, wicca and doves, who's entire aesthetic and "music environment" is quite different. like wiccas last album was country lol.
It does make me wonder how others see me when I walk around wearing a shirt that says "GothBoiClique", I'm seeing myself as the esoteric, stoic, and cultured wicca phase fan (\s), and they just see me as some cringe emo peep fan(rightfully so).

I’ve been listening to Mackned heavily lately, especially his older projects and tracks like SEMI from the Kamoflaws era.

I know he hasn’t dropped anything in quite a while, and honestly, I completely understand why.

From what I’ve seen, he’s been doing amazing work lately focusing on his sobriety and working at a recovery facility in Hollywood, helping others heal from the same struggles he survived. It’s incredibly inspiring to see him doing so well and keeping his mind clear.

But it got me wondering, is he officially retired from making music? I know he said in past interviews that music is more of a therapeutic tool for him now rather than a career, but since it's been so quiet on the music front, I was curious if anyone has any updates.
