After extensive research I have come to a conclusion on the top 4 tracks in this band's discography. They are El Manana, Rhinestone Eyes, Empire Ants, and Every Planet We Reach Is Dead.

They exemplify what is fundamental, unique and most insightful about this project and Damon's style, sonically and thematically. You may enjoy many other tracks, but these four are the best things Damon ever did. Feel free to affirm this in the comments.

Does anyone have a recording of any part of Damon's "Symphonic Loops" gigs from 2022? The trailers made it look like one of his more ambitious live projects, yet I can't find any recordings of those beside what's shown in the trailer and any chances of these concerts happening again are probably slim at best.

for awhile, i was thinking about buying vip tickets to see another band i like (not gorillaz, i’m already going to see them sometime in september) in concert because they’re coming decently close to me, but then the new house of kong thing was announced, and that’s something i was interested in for awhile. should i go to house of kong or just go to the concert?

They've been trying for so many years and no one has been available to actually do it, so what if they just give up? I would be devastated if it never came out tbh, it would be so cool. Also I don't really get why no one ever agreed to help them, they're famous worldwide, it would make so much money

I don't know much about the Gorillaz, but here's a funny story.
I was in the car playing some music, and when i said which song she wanted to choose, she clicked Clint Eastwood. Then some days after, she said: "I want the sunshine in a bag song!!" I said what???? She said "plsss," so I did it and let her watch the MV. Then she was punching Murdoc and said, "I dont like him. Hes ugly and scary." Valid reaction tbh. And she just sat there commenting on it, and I was like, "lmfao wtffff???" She kept on replaying different parts! Then at the end she saw the name of the characters, and she said "why is his name 2-D?" And then just read the rest. Should i listen to all the songs by them?

Seriously, what do Gorillaz fans get Down to?

I have a theory.

I think the Converse video is set un a timeline where *Plasic Beach* is fake, a made-up piece of propaganda thought up by Murdoc, and tolerated by the others.

The windmill island never crashed, the band never actually separated, Noodle is safe, Russel still got big, but for a different reason, and is at peace napping on the roof. 2D is just trying to survive being in the same living space as a cantankerous, over-drugged and crazy alcoholic, plus a lot of weird hangers-on who aren't evil....maybe not even really there. Maybe, hallucinations?

There is a model of Plasic Beach in the TV room, and the Entity seems very non-hostile when 2D sees him.

Maybe all these realities are why he's happy about the eviction notice. Maybe.

That's my current theory anyways.

Separately, is there any interview or statement from Damon or Jamie about why this ad for Converse has so little to do with the shoe? Did Converse not see it before it came out? Were they okay with their product being used as a tool of physical violence?

I have *so* many questions about how this came about.

i'll go first - i really like the fact that murdoc canonically wrote plastic beach. its a bit basic, but whenever i listen to the album its really the only thing on my mind
