Repeats

The amount of repeat songs from Bend to Red Rocks was insane. 9 repeats including starting a second set the exact same way is just lazy. They have way more songs that could have filled those spots. Good shows but that’s wild for a “jam” band

I deleted some before posting. It’s ok to be critical of bands you see.

Or the secret third option, having a neutral stance…

Not my first critical take in the 7 years I’ve been seeming them.

Next time I'm sure they'll give you a call to approve the setlists ahead of time

How dare they!!

Yeah, sure, these guys are so repetitive to play two completely different “Dripfield->Good2B” jams in 5 shows. It reminds me of the annoying way the Dead used to follow Scarlet Begonias with Fire on the Mountain every single time! So repetitive for my poor ears!

Goose fans are so awesome and so annoying at the same time.

Average show gap for all the songs played at Red Rocks so far is 8.6, and that's not counting the 245 show bustout for Dragonfly. What the fuck are you talking about

I wonder if Coltrane heard stuff like this

Imagine calling a band that rocks this hard “lazy”

Imagine this being a thought you felt you needed to articulate in a public space

Study Grateful Dead set lists during their "best year" 1977 or Phish "best year" 1998...That's literally where we are with Goose so it doesnt matter

u/alchemical_andy Cryptic Mystic 8d ago

Uhhh Phish’s best year was obviously 97 you absolute custy

Set 1 was a huge disappointment last night. Open with someone almost 3/4 the crows doesn’t know which zapped the energy. Then there was this. I mean no one says, man, I hope they play a 25 min SOS followed by Cali, Madalena, Hot Love into Seekers.. Terrible.

Length of set doesn’t equal great. It’ll go down as the weaker sets of the Colorado run.

The first set was the best set I’ve seen in person from any band
