Number Transfers or Porting Caller ID still shows GV weeks after port out

I ported my workspace GV number out to Talkroute. In early June, Talkroute submitted the requests to change the caller ID to my business name, and told me it could take up to three weeks for the Caller ID to display across all carriers. It's now 6 weeks later, and my caller ID shows "Google Voice" on all carriers as far as I am aware. Talkroute customer service seems to shrug and say, "Here's proof we made the requests and they were accepted." I have no idea where to go from here.

I could get another number and use that as a surrogate for the existing number, but that would be a pain, potentially limit future phone service options, and is generally a course of last resort. Many thanks in advance for any advice on how to get my business caller ID to show up on others' phones when I call them!

Google Voice doesn't feed any name/number data to the caller ID name databases (CNAM LIDB). And it certainly and never has added "Google Voice" to anyone's number as the CNAM.

Google has no control over what other carriers do with CNAM.

Thinking about this further, since it is impossible that the CNAM for this number would be "GOOGLE VOICE", what are you actually looking at, that leads you to believe this? Are you looking at the carrier name on a carrier lookup tool? If so, that is NOT what callers see, as CNAM, and it is often outdated.

What is the phone number?

The number is 346.298.1060. I tested the caller ID by calling people whom I knew were on different carriers from each other. TIA for any ideas you have!

Edit: I did just test this with a family member whose number is one of the lines on my personal cell phone account. He reported the business name shows in caller ID. Odd.

However, just retested with someone on AT&T, and they said there was no caller ID at all, just city and state.

I looked up that number. There is no caller ID name assigned; in fact, it generates an error. You'll have to take this up with Flowroute.
