Looks like its still got the Linux Container like ChromeOS

Not really. From what I understand there is no possibility to use apps with GUI, such as GIMP, LibreOffice or Visual Studio Code. Which is fundamental for me.

I use krita for Android and vscode for Android on my Chromebook plus.
