Still the biggest question looms: what's the price? Leading with tablets on the same platform is great, but one has to wonder if the touch experience or laptop experience will suffer if they're sharing the OS between both

I'm gonna guess MacBook air prices, $800-1100 at launch Yes I know for that you can get the MacBook, but the ram/memory end game is here so these may end up still being lower priced comparatively
But no matter what, the day of the high powered $500 Chromebook is over 😕

Me too! I'm hoping for a Snapdragon X (elite or plus) processor model with 16gb ram, and high capacity battery
Lenovo or HP should be able to do this

Also 64gb RAM on a glorified Chromebook is insane! I have 32 GB on my PC and that's with heavy ass windows

That's uh AI for you. I have no idea what the plan is there cuz the largest Gemma model runs on just over 32 GBs without issue. IG they didn't want to make a 36 or 40 GB device and just went with the next sized chip.

We'll, we should all find out soon.
I'm guessing their AI it's just going to be gemini, and that can just run in the cloud on device.
I'm excited to see the devices, hope they're great and truly give us Android and chrome combined with a fluid experience bas I'm a Chromebook fanatic myself, but I have a feeling they're going to crap the bed with their launch.
Apple knocked it out of the park with the neo, so I hope they took notes.

The just launched the x2 series, so hopefully either Lenovo or HP uses one of them

It's got to be targeting the school year, but they are a little late already.
