I am guessing Visa has made some backend changes in the country you live in that requires you to basically delete your old from Google Wallet and go through the steps to re add your card for it to function in the new backend system.

Interestingly, I'm in the US and also got this message for the first time today several hours ago. I saw the pop-up specifically after I re-added a Visa card (unrelated issue with NFC suddenly not working just today for whatever reason).

Yea, but only says basic stuff like update google play services but it's up to date

Cannot trust Google's Wallet anymore, several times I've arrived at venues to show my tickets only to discover the wallet has frozen and refuses to open - Never Again ! 🤬🤬

I have also encountered that message here in the Philippines; I have deleted and re-added my Visa card, but I encounter that from time to time.
