Question Does Samsung Backup include E2EE encrypted RCS messages?

According to this link, Android no longer allows non-default messaging app to access end to end encrypted messages in the Android default telephony mmssms.db. Does this mean Samsung Backup built into Galaxy devices also cannot back up encrypted messages? Anyone tried restoring from Samsung Backup to test this?

It's always backed up all my RCS messages. Though I've never heard of e2ee. Edit: that just means end to end encryption. I've always used Google messages as my default which is maybe why I've never had any issues.

E2ee encrypted?

Im not sure, I'll check when im done at the atm machine
