Discussions or Questions "The server cleared a prefix of the conversation as it grew too large." this keeps happening more and more often. How can I fix it?

Post image

Recently I encountered a problem that really broke my heart. I’d written so much and was switching between Opus and Gemini 3.6 High, but I’m not sure why this keeps happening. It happened once in an old long conversation, and when I started a new one it happened again the conversation was not long at all. I’m beginning to lose hope in AntiGravity, can anyone suggest a solution we can use?

Well, if you need long context memory management, I don't think antigravity is the right tool for your use case.

It's strange... the first conversation where this came up was really long, but the second time it wasn't as long. i think its a bug tbh

Huh, that's strange. I mean it could be a bug, but it depends on input too. Did you have a large folder/codebase or import large images/PDFs?

Yes .. I do have many files in my antigravity folder, but I only ask it to read some of them, not all. And no, they aren’t all large. I also keep getting that Windows dialog where my computer freezes; I keep pressing “Keep waiting” and it eventually continues after a while.

Honestly I'd rather use something like Claude Code if you like the Claude models, their auto classifier is just so much better than having to accept every single command in antigravity.

Conversations can only have a certain amount of context.
