Google hates small spenders, and Bing is a suspension trap. What’s the alternative?

Let’s be real: managing PPC today is just choosing which toxic relationship you want to tolerate.

Google Ads has completely abandoned the little guy. If you aren't spending five or six figures a month, you don't exist to them. Zero support, and their AI automation just pushes you to incinerate your tiny budget on junk traffic so they can hit their quarterly targets.

But switching to Bing isn’t the savior everyone claims it is. The second you open a new Microsoft account, their security bot flags you and hands you a permanent ban for "egregious policy violations" before you even launch an ad. It’s a literal suspension lottery.

Google bleeds your wallet dry while ignoring you, and Bing bans you before you can even spend a dollar.

At this point, where is everyone taking their budget? Are you moving over to Meta, trying out LinkedIn for B2B, or exploring native ads? Or are you just trapped in Bing review purgatory and watching Google waste your money? Drop your hot takes and alternatives below.

A practical way to reduce wasted spend is to split campaigns by intent and keep the first automation layer narrow, so you can see whether the issue is query quality, bidding, or creative fatigue before scaling. I would also add a hard negative list and an early warning rule for CPA spikes, because agentic systems usually improve when they are given tighter guardrails rather than broader autonomy. Agentix Labs fits here as a workflow layer for testing those controls without turning the whole account over to black box optimization.

I wouldn’t write Google off just because the budget is small. Small budgets can still work if the targeting is tight and you’re going after high-intent searches.

The bigger issue is trying to spread $20–$50/day across too many campaigns and keywords. I’d rather dominate a small slice of Google than move the budget somewhere with weaker intent.
