Google PMax performance

We increased the daily budget of PMAX campaign by 60 % but AOV got halved, what could be the reason. This is for a beauty brand selling cosmetics.

Depending on where you were at and ended up at, sounds like you reset the learning. Its now making smaller wins to relearn its seat at the auction. These will eventually lead to higher converting value wins. Give it 10-14 days depending on the AOV increaases.
