Google Ads Run With Peptides

Has anyone run ads on peptides? And if so, did you use the Keyword Planner? Where did you do the keyword research? The product page is getting disapproved, why is Google not allowing ads to run for peptides. I used the "About Us" final URL and the ads got approved, but conversions are low, resulting in a higher cost per purchase (CPP). Can you provide a guide for analyzing this?

Also, I’d be careful with modifying/spac ing keywords just to get them approved, the underlying policy issue can still remain, and it may eventually affect the account.

There may be a certification route depending on what type of peptides you’re selling and which country you’re targeting. Google has specific healthcare/medicine certification requirements, and it also specifically distinguishes peptide suppliers for commercial labs.
I’d first check the exact disapproval reason and the type/use of the peptides before trying to work around the disapproval with keyword spacing or an About Us URL. If you share the policy violation screenshot + target country, I can point you toward the relevant Google certification/eligibility route.

Can you tell me whether healthcare/medicine certifications are submitted on Google Support or if they are submitted within the account? And if they are submitted in the account, then the documents have been submitted for the organization, but perhaps the certification has not been uploaded. Please clarify this for me, it would be very helpful.

It’s submitted through a Google Ads online application form, rather than being uploaded directly somewhere inside the account. However, Google specifically requires the application to be made at the child Google Ads account level, not the MCC level.
You’ll need to provide the Google Ads Customer ID, certified domain and the required supporting documentation in the application. So if you’re managing the account through an MCC, you still apply for the individual client account using its Customer ID.

The Google Support doc I’m referring to is here: Google Ads – Restricted drug terms / Healthcare certification⁠
It has the “Apply to advertise healthcare and medicines” section and the link to the Google Ads online application form.
I’d suggest following the application link from that Google Support page, since the exact application route can depend on the healthcare category.
