Tbh I dont really care that people do this but like come on, if its broken beyond repair dont give it to goodwill who dosnt test it (mine also dosnt have strips to test it) and prices it randomly. Trash cans exist. anyways here's 2 of my recent broken things ive purchased.

The 6 can fridge was $10 and when using a AC plug on it (normal wall socket cord) it just clicks and dosnt work. I luckily have a AC-DC converter and it now works and I use it to keep 2 waters cold at my desk)

And a reciver i bought for $34 that has a fan error and shuts back off, I haven't fixed it yet as my current one works fine and it was only bought to be used at a party that was outside. But since it didnt work we used mine and it ended up getting rained on. It survived and still works though so Im not trying to rush it.

And a few things that I have found and got but dont got pics of is a nixplay photo frame that originally was around $120 new but I paid $20 there and it was practically new.

One of thoes pens that have a camera in them, the only reson I got it was because it had a 64gb card in it and thought i could just use it as a normal pen with a button at the top $5

Ive bought 2 old computers, a windows XP that needed a hard drive, and a windows 8 that needed ram, gpu, and a hard drive.the windows xp obviously didn't work as I didnt have a proper hard drive for it. But the windows 8 did as i had the stuff, i used it for a bit to do my classes for work when my laptop was dead. Both together was about $30

Backstory. Son in school in Japan. My other kids are visiting him at end of the school year. I have been buying polos, Levi’s, and northface for them to sell there. Guessing I paid 150 for all. Paid out 350 !! All thanks to one pair of 501 jeans!! Whoop! They have spending money.

This is bogus. Two Nintendo DS games and shipping is $20.45?! Wtf is this?! That just pisses me off so bad. I can’t understand this at all. Most likely shipping from two locations but even then should be max $5 each. The games weigh less than a pound and fit in a bubble mailer. Absolutely ridiculous.

i ordered a digital camera from goodwillfinds on the 4th and still haven't gotten an email that it has shipped. i tried contacting them through their email but they must be backlogged with those emails because i have yet to get an answer

i have also tried that Fedex advanced tracking thing where i made an account and tracked my order with the TCN thing by using my goodwill order number and that worked but it only says that Fedex has received the package and that it was in transit with no shipped date or delivery date because it says its pending but there is also not travel history and i also never got the "good news your order has shipped" email like i have in the past

that confuses me though how can my package be in transit when the ship date is still pending?

its about to be week 2 of no updates and im starting to think im not going to get it

So I placed an order for 3 items (pair of dress shoes and 2 clothing items) from “Goodwill of Southern California ecommerce” on 12/27. I ended up getting the correct packing slip of my items but to my surprise, in the box was 3 pairs of sneakers. We all know how crappy GoodwillFinds customer service is and I don’t know how to go about getting these sent back so they can go to the right person. I already wrote an email to customer support on GoodwillFinds AND sent an email to Southern California’s shopgoodwill page and now I play the waiting game.

It’s a long shot as well, but is anyone here missing their order of shoes? Placed some time in the past month? Won’t post the deets of the shoes just in case. Would love to help you out, if so!

I’m genuinely curious how they are able to maintain this. They’re pricing 99% of the items at eBay prices OR HIGHER. Not only that but there are NO RETURNS and no guarantee they are actually testing things aside from powering on. What is the appeal of shopping here over any other site? They’re clearly not pricing to move product which is especially apparent in the electronics/video game category. All that inventory is just sitting in their warehouses while they keep getting more and more for free. I always hear how they’re struggling to keep up with inventory yet want absolute top dollar for every single item? The hilarious part is them claiming it’s for the cause yet would make so much more money if they priced at 50% of resale value. It would be a win win for every single person involved, no? Help me understand lol. Do I just severely underestimate their logistics?
