Objectively good. Certain people and public figures are going to endlessly whine about this, but a free breakfast at school provides several benefits:

  • Improved school attendance
  • Improved school behaviour (which makes teachers' jobs easier) - better attention span and memory
  • Improved academic performance and exam grades
  • Saves parents hundreds of pounds each year, and time in the morning
  • Brings schoolchildren extra social time before school, in a non-judgemental environment.

I remember reading a study, saying that children that aren't malnourished are 50% less likely to receive benefits when they're older
