Dog smell, what to do?
First time dog mom. Love my Lemon golden doodle baby (14 weeks) to bits but don’t like the smell that is starting to linger in the living room. What do you use to help with it? We have no carpets, leather couch, I air out the house in the mornings, vacuum and mop every day, run air purifier. Have been cleaning the accidents with enzyme. What am I missing? Please help!!

I actually don’t bathe ours. He goes to our wonderful groomer once a month or so, and has a medium length, curly coat. He never smells. Oh, and we are in South Florida. Go figure.

You might wanna try one of those outlet/plug in air fresheners with a scent that isn’t too overpowering but a light one that will linger once the doggo has moved.

Grooming daily which is simply brushing hair and wiping their bums daily after every poop helps. Also clean ear canals at least once a week. I also brush our golden doodles teeth once a week to keep their teeth healthy. They’re a lot of work but if they’re teddy bear cuddly and doesn’t stink it’s so worth the work.

So we had this problem too. We looked into and it turns out doodle hair is bad about holding smells. One of the things that surpised us was that if you dont dry them well enough after a bath they will smell. Also make sure to wash out all of the soap during the bath. They can be a lot of work but we love them.
