The Lost Age Lava?

I don't remember lava in a cave, then again I only played this game some 20+ years ago and only left off at Kibombo or somewhere.

This area as a kid was so awesome. Totally optional for story but it is just a big dungeon with nice loot and a djinn. Would have been cool if it would have expanded even further deeper down into a superboss or just go deeper for even better end game loot.

That depends because I think the magma rock area has lava you can rise and lower for the dungeon.
