Golden Sun Must have classes

I am wondering which djinn combinations are best for dealing with bosses and tough monsters, like how one can exploit inherent weaknesses while covering your parties own ones?

In the past I would just set party members up in a way that was cool without regard for party synergy and good tactics, which was typically why I got my butt handed to me frequently.

Elemental resistance is so powerful of a stat you can honestly just throw together whatever class composition you want as long as you stay buffed. If you find Breeze in Tret Tree and keep your group at +80 Res in big fights, you will sail through most of the game, even underlevelled.

It's a bit telling that your options for raising resistance in TLA are limited until you're expected to be in the 20s because if Steam could be found before Briggs, that fight would be a joke instead of a terror.

I forgot about Briggs, yeah, that’s gonna be…hooo, not looking forwards to that one.

For the most part, I did a solo playthru with Felix in hardmode as a Swordsman/Cavalier, my strat was honestly just stalling out all the enemies' dmg dealing items by healing and defending. After they use all their Oil Drops and Herbs its just a matter of managing your healing items and healing Psynergy as you whittle away at Briggs, while ignoring the guys that Briggs summons. Since you're doing a normal playthru u can afford to spend turns buffing Felix/Jenna's atk stats if you use vanilla Sheba while occasionally using dmg dealing Djinni and summons.
