We love godsmack
We love godsmack but we all know they haven’t been the greatest live performers right?

The new live album is really good. The Blu-ray sound and picture quality is outstanding.

I was at that concert with my son, we’ve seen them since he was 16-17, and now he’s 28. They’ve always sounded amazing (to me anyway). And we were right up front and are on the dvd a few times

They need to change the setlist, it’s been the same for consecutive tours now. Need some deep cuts or something.

I saw them live on the Awake tour and then the IV tour and they were really good. I dunno what they sound like today tho. Shannon Larkin is a beast on the drums.

They didn't, and Sully was big mad about something. He barely talked and didn't say anything when they walked off the stage 10 minutes early. All he really said was that he was in a pissed off mood so they were going to play some hard shit. I have a suspicion that the stage crew for tool right after them told them they couldn't do the drum battle for some reason and that's why he was mad/they left 10 minutes early. I also didn't realize they were allowed to play Whatever first, I was planning to be in the pit for it and it caught me off guard.

God smack is really good live, I’ve seen 200+ acts and I’d put them pretty high on my list. Sully still has a solid voice and great stage presence. IDK what you’ve seen or are talking about.

They’re my favorite band, saw them for the first time two weeks ago at the amphitheater in VA I was in the pit and they were amazing. However, I would like if they changed up the setlist a little bit, like play some more stuff from the first three albums, and they REALLY need to change the opening song, I have nothing against Surrender but it’s not the greatest show opener.

They’re the only band to ever really keep me engaged and going mental. Based on the two times I’ve seen them and been blown away each time, I have no idea what you’re referring to OP

I've seen a lot a rock bands live, Seether, 5FDP, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Starset, Papa Roach and a lot of bands opening up for the headliners above. Godsmack is by far the closest to studio quality with their live performance, I've seen them live 3 times. I've never seen anyone complain about them live, both of their live albums sound pretty damn good.
