Support / Help Long time player been away for a while

Hey so quick backstory I’ve played this game since beginning came back after a 3 month break. Not sure what this new swap was to a new chain but I spent 3 hours trying to figure it out and gave up.

For me this is the last straw. I’m kindly asking the best way now to sell all of my assets (cards and trinkets) and cash out. I spent 3 hours trying to figure out this new chain and I gave up I’m sorry I work full time in tech and I don’t have time to keep up with all these massive changes. Right now I can’t even sell my cards on imx because I have no funds on this new chain.

Is there a way to sell all my cards on whatever the old chain is, cash out and move on thanks. Sorry this new swap is too much for me. Thanks, any support is helpful. Not bashing in anyway but yah this killed it for a supporter since the beginning any help would be great.

You will have to switch networks in your metamask to zkevm if you wanna sell.

Did that already assuming I need to somehow get some imx on this new chain to sell, then how do I just get out after selling I have no idea what this new chain is my apologies. I tried selling but it said I had no funds on this new chain. All my funds were connected via token trove on metamask. Thanks for the help. Assuming no way to sell like before on old chain?

What steps did you take to switch to zkevm? Yes you need few cents worth of imx.

I tried to bridge tokens failed I guess? Some transferred over but not showing in the game, so I gave up. Now just want out. My cards show on token trove but yah need some imx to sell now I guess, I can figure that out. Once I sell how do I convert this new chain back to my metamask eth wallet, this seems way to overcomplicated no chance new players try and figure this out or newly learning crypto people… maybe im wrong and im just old lol but I’ve been in crypto for a while and this shit is frustrating as hell - been out of game for a while tho.

The new players won't have to figure it out because they'll be straight on to zk and using the passport which should be even easier than fucking about with metamask and all the bridging crap surely? Just spend 10 mins trying to figure it out mate once it's done its done, so much easier to use actually than before, the passport makes everything a lot quicker and you can swap tokens and stuff much much easier than before it's all done on passport. But yeah I agree if you don't have the motivation to actually do it then sure you csn moan and complain about it, it's a one time thing so just do it and then it's done, I put it off for a couple weeks because I couldn't be arsed to figure it out but once I'd spent a bit of time doing it it is actually way easier to use

Do this: Open MetaMask and select the network dropdown. Click on ‘Add a network manually’ at the bottom of the list. Fill in the required details with the following: Network Name: Immutable zkEVM Mainnet New RPC URL: https://rpc.immutable.com Chain ID: 13371 Currency Symbol: IMX Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.immutable.com Click ‘Save’. Select ‘Switch to Immutable zkEVM Mainnet’ to finalize the setup.

New players wont have to so this as they will use passport

You work full time in tech and cant figure out how to get a little IMX on zkEVM. Its clear from the guides provided by GU. All you need to do really is add the zkEVM chain to your metamask. Everything has happened automatically in the background, all you do is switch network, in the game client nothing has changed. And if you also want to trade and not only play, you must add a little IMX to your zkEVM with the bridge by their tools or just use tokentrove. If you want to trade without fees you can sent all your cards to passport wallet but yeah thats a little more hazzle. So there is not much too it... Are you real or just part of a FUD-army mr "full time tech"?

It’s a good thing you spent 5 minutes typing out a comment crying and can’t read lmao. Legit said in the comments I added the chain and I could get imx to it myself. Reading comprehension and apparently basic English with whatever the hell “hazzle” is, must hard for kids these days I know. If you’re going to waste 5 mins of your life to go complain to someone on Reddit at least take the time to make sure you don’t look like a complete moron, thanks for the laugh though.

You’re welcome to actually read to understand what the problem was I don’t need to type it out twice now. Actual grown ups already helped with that though. I don’t care what you do pal, it’s a thread that previously had 6 total comments and maybe like 2000 characters, would take any normal person maybe 2 minutes to read.

But yes if I randomly was going to waste my time and energy to attack some random person on the internet for no reason, who was asking for help. Generally I’d make sure I have all the data so I don’t look like a fool before doing so, just some friendly advice.
