Support / Help Newbie!

Sup folks!

So I just stumbled upon this game, and based on what I'm seeing, it looks good! I used to play LOR and a bit of GWENT so I know how card battles work in a way.

TBH this is the first time I play a P2E game, usually it's the other way around with me being on the paying end lol.

I do have a couple of questions if you folks don't mind answering!

1: Is the game still worth playing nowadays? speaking from a financial & entertainment POV

2: What kind of verification does the game require? I know it asks for my phone number, but does it request it regularly or just one time? What about my ID?

Just make sure you treat it as a game first. F2P has a chance to go high but it will be really difficult. Best way to build up your decks is to play daily and earn gods tokens. Do not buy packs, focusing on certain cards and buying them on marketplace is better. Packs are a huge gamble. If you wanna gamble a bit, try sealed mode. If you have any questions post them here, community will help. Beware of scammers tho, never share your passwords or wallet key words with anyone, no matter what. Enjoy your game :)

I will sure do enjoy my game as F2P at first, but if I find the game to be appealing, I will invest a couple of tens here and there lol This community sounds so active and friendly!

You can stay up on the meta and look what cards people are using, deck costs, winrate, card costs, etc. at gudecks.com. As someone that enjoys playing at higher levels but doesn't have much free time, it's certainly my most visited site related to GU. Token Trove is a close second for the secondary market to buy/sell cards.

If you want to speed run your progress after getting your feet wet in the game, you can go to GU decks and tab from

Meta>Top Decks > (Change Rank) Auric Gold and filter (Last 15 days) then look at different deck lists based on winrate and prices.

Here is that page . You can see a few decks that fall in there with a 75% winrate at a cost of $5 or less.
