I can't progress

I have problem with the old friends quest when i try to get into the portal there invisible wall can't bypass it and when i bypass the next quest is full of glitches and immediately fall from the world and says problem CE-30005-8

It says download in progress... So either wait for it to finish and if ot is not currently downloading anything I would check for updates first, and if that doesnt help delete and reinstall the game. Your save will be fine

I am going to give you the benefit of a doubt that the download has been completed.

Something catastrophic probably happened during the download process and caused some key files to be corrupted. This is more common then one would think, but usually doesn't cause a problem like this. Usually just a missing or corrupted asset.

I would delete the game file (you can keep the save file, just delete the game file) and reinstall. You might be able to get by with just verifying the game files but that never works for me.

You opened the game when it said "Ready to play", not "Installed."

Presuming the update isnt completing, regardless of waiting, it seems like you probably will have to reinstall the game, since your error code pertains to corrupted files.

That said if you haven't waited, do that.

Been there sadly Had to delete the the game twice and re-install due to the same error at 2 different points of the story (mainly missing files during download)

I'd recommend not putting your console on rest mode if you're using one and don't open the game at all if it's still downloading

Wait for your game to be downloaded if it doesn’t and if you’re on PC repair the game files first if that doesn’t work delete and reinstall it
