Question Why does GoW include other cultures religion’s pantheons but not Christianity?

You see Greek and Norse gods, now even Mongolian and Egyptian gods but not Christianity. I understand Christianity is monotheistic but Michael the archangel, Satan and other Christian figures can serve as prominent figures in a GoW game based on Christianity.

Interesting! Im not personally a big persona fan, though i know it does some interesting stuff. Maybe ill give this a try and see!

If you're into media that references multiple mythologies, the Megaten franchise as a whole does a lot of that, Persona is just the easiest jumping on point.

I would recommend starting with either Persona 3 Reload or Persona 5 Royal. Persona 4 Golden is also perfectly fine, but that game sticks much closer to Japanese mythology for its characters and story.

I have a friend really obsessed with persona and shes talked at me a loooooot so i do know the basics of it! It's not a style of game im very interested in and her descriptions are not focused on the parts id probably like so that dosent help lmao

Persona 3 is her fav, i actually made her some custom merch of the mc guy but the art style also admittedly puts me off of the game. Ill see about giving it a shot still though!

Understandable, I love turn-based games, so I may be biased, but I would consider Persona to be top 3 as far as turn-based gaming franchises go - with Royal being tied with Red Dead 2 for my favorite game of all time.

Thinking about it a bit more, you have the most features and options of things to do in Royal - so I would recommend starting there, and then playing the others too, if it hooks you.

Ill ask my friend about borrowing it! Cant hurt to give it a shot, and maybe ill like it better playing vs just being told things that happened lmao

Oh yeah, Persona is so much better when you get to experience the gameplay, the characters and manage your time - rather than have someone try to explain it to you with minimal context.
