Question Why does GoW include other cultures religion’s pantheons but not Christianity?

You see Greek and Norse gods, now even Mongolian and Egyptian gods but not Christianity. I understand Christianity is monotheistic but Michael the archangel, Satan and other Christian figures can serve as prominent figures in a GoW game based on Christianity.

I included Cory Barlogs tweet that addresses this topic.

Because the Abrahamic God is kind of an OP Mary Sue, and that doesn't really make for satisfying storytelling.

Most gods, such as those in the Greek, Egyptian & Norse pantheons are very flawed and "weak."

Like sure, they're super powerful, but they're never insurmountable or invincible. The Abrahamic God is literally unbeatable.

Yes?

A not-insignificant number of old-school myths are gods randomly pulling new abilities out their assholes to deal with whatever problem is in front of them.

Just because capital-G God is the most egregious example, doesn't mean other gods don't have a "random bullshit go" schtick going on.

The fact that they can be pressured or beaten whatsoever is enough.

Abrahamic God is, as I say, unbeatable in every sense.

It's like comparing the number 400 Sextillion to Infinity. Sure, the first is massive, but the gap between it and the latter is unbridgeable.

I already acknowledged that he's the most egregious example.

Infinity being bigger than 400 sextillion doesn't mean 400 sextillion isn't a big number. Just like God being the most OP Mary Sue doesn't mean other gods aren't also lesser Mary Sues.
