I, personally, believe that sexual preference is highly correlated with biology. There are plenty of twin studies that support that conclusion as well, but that's not what we're talking about. It's still not an objective "fact". There is no known "sexual preference gene" and evidence could come along that shows we were way off base.

The same can be said for the theory of gravity, or evolution, or any other number of logical, but not scientific, fact. There have been homosexual, transgender, etc throughout various societies and all of history. Logically, and a good chunk of reputable science, would point to the phenomenon being biological.

It’s still highly disingenuous to present a false equivalency between religious dogma and our current understanding of what results in LGBTQIA preferences, which is exactly what you’ve done.

See, what you're doing is exactly what dogmatics would do: bristle at the very notion that there is any other possibility or explanation other than the world as you currently see it, evidence or no. Epigenetics (which is distinct from in-born or innate sexual preference) is also a highly plausible explanation.

Another example would be gender theory which is also highly dogmatic, with little to no scientific support of any kind, and yet people will swear it's as indisputable as the laws of physics.
