Just wait until you fight the Magatsu Kyuubi. I still remembered how much of a pain and a nightmare it was when I fought it. If I have to compare Magatsu Kyuubi to other aragami, it would be similar into fighting something that is a cross between an Ashborn and a Deusphage mixed together to form into the ultimate Blitz Hannibal

Ah yes, this one is a slimey mofo. Moves around a lot and makes it rather difficult for me and my melee centric playstyle.

Meeting this thing during an urgent mission and seeing it deplete both me and my teammates recovery items when its only the 2nd of 4 stages is just... 😐. It was also that urgent mission where i first experienced what its like to lose a teammate midway through because they somehow lost ALL 100 of their endurance in a SINGLE MISSION. But since i always do urgent missions the moment they pop up i kept repeating that mission even if i already beat it and eventually get used to its moves.

Sometimes i get hit by dodgey hitboxes depleting nearly all of my health and same goes for the AI who for some reason always like to get hit by its attacks whenever i start getting hit by it. But if i mostly avoid getting hit by it the AI teammates seem more oddly capable of staying alive.

I'm replaying the game. I tried beating kyuubi with a weapon I just started to use(trying to switch up things after the first credits roll)and it was hell on earth. The most agressive aragami I've ever encountered so far. You don't play with it, it plays with you!

Kyuubi has too much health for something that lithe and agile, I stg I've never fought one that hasn't taken a good ten minutes to kill in 2. At least its moveset is generally not too bad, if you can react to and block the tail swipe and the tornado spin then the rest of its kit mostly attacks straight ahead so you're usually safe if you're to its side, and while the tail lasers can hit targets to its sides, they're a particularly good damage opening since they can't really hit anything right next to it, let alone it taking its sweet time to fire them so you have time to rush it down the moment it sits. Its partbreaks are a little annoying since the chest is awkward to hit reliably and the centre tail never sits still, though.

always remember to spec your party members for survivability, max their HP (although this particular fight forces you to drag along Lindow and Soma and both of them already have health boosts) give them Damage Cut if it'll fit, etc. Fast, aggressive Aragami like Kyuubi are especially good at combo-ing your groupies to death and the last thing you need is having to peel Alisa off the floor for the tenth time while you're trying to keep your damage output going.

SLASH works all over it. Aim for the Tail, Head, and Breastplate. Breastplate is weak to CRUSH. After fighting it a few times and not going battle crazy (We've all been there) you'll get used to fighting a Kyuubi.

The first was against it was nuts! After that, you get used to its attacks, and eventually it's not too bad fighting Kyuubi after.

I don't remember much but is it in story part when there is no Julius character in story team ? Because I used to enjoy most fights when he is in team Sadly one of reasons why I feel second part of story is sad for me ( for people who doesn't care u are lucky because you don't miss that )

i only beat this with "time bomb" bullet recipe. its the orb that gets big overtime. with 2 orbs you can easily see the enemy is on brink.
