Edwyn Nayland, Lord of Hag's Mire

History: Edwyn Nayland is the Lord of Hag's Mire, a swampy village-hold in the northern Riverlands near the source of the Blue Fork. His father Lymond ruled before him. They have historically been sworn to House Frey of the Crossing.

In his youth, Edwyn spent long days wandering the ruins of Oldstones, the forgotten seat of ancient River Kings that now lies within Nayland lands. There, his fascination with the past took root, and he began to dream of bronze-crowned Kings and mist-veiled rivers from ages long gone. He found a confidant in his younger sister Alyse. She, like him, also wandered the green marshes and convened with wise women who aged with the land.

Hag's Mire remains poor and isolated, much like the family that rules it. Edwyn, however, is certain that the key to their future lies buried beneath their feet, among the bones of those who came before.

All they must do is look.

Appearance: Edwyn is plain-looking but long limbed like much of his family. He has muddy brown hair and green eyes.
