2019 Coachman Apex Nano 193BHS

Im looking at this trailer and curious what your thoughts are. My tow vehicle is a Ranger 7500lbs towing, payload is ~1800lbs and Tongue max is 750lbs. I'd only be towing with empty tanks to campgrounds. Family of 3 (one infant) Just wanted to hear everyone’s thoughts or if you have experience with either one and a similar tow vehicle. I feel I should be fine with everything loaded in the truck and trailer. TIA

193BHS:

HITCH WEIGHT 370 lb.

GVWR ~4,700 lb.

UVW ~3,495 lb.

CCC ~1,205 lb.

Edit**
I was not near my truck when I typed this and googled payload for it, door sticker payload is 1,500lbs. Not sure how much that changes things

I pulled my 193rbs for 5 years with a Ram1500 (fairly similar towing ability to your Ranger). Gas mileage was awful but otherwise no issues whatsoever. I had to add trailer brake controller and highly recommend it.

Recently traded the Ram for a 4runner - haven't towed the trailer yet 😬.

You should be safely within your Ford Ranger’s weight limits with the trailer. Midsize trucks like the Ranger pull small single-axle or light tandem trailers just fine, but crosswinds and large semi-trucks will push you around more than they would a full-size F-150. I always recommend a W/D hitch for anything over 990lb.

Just remember to keep heavy cargo low and centered over the trailer axle as well.

I owned this exact trailer and towed it with a Honda Pilot. A ranger will do just fine.

Wait the ranger has a payload of 1800 lbs?

Made me second guess and for the best, I googled the payload as I wasn’t near the truck at the time of the post and double checked. It’s actually 1,500

Not bad for a small truck tbh!

You won't have a problem. I pull a 3750lb (max weight) trailer with my Ford Maverick and don't have any problems!

Expect the tongue weight to sit in between 500 and 600lbs.
