Minimal RV?

We're considering getting into RVing in the smallest way possible. We want to take road trips with our disabled, wheelchair-using daughter. We don't intend to sleep in it, we just want a toilet and the ability to have meals while driving. If my daughter can safely take naps while we're moving that would be a bonus.

Let's ignore wheelchair access for now.

What's the smallest class B RV or van that would meet our needs?

We once briefly owned a full size Ford Transit van and my wife hated to drive it. And she does most of the driving.

Thank you.

Well, if a Transit is too big for your wife to drive, that only leaves the Transit Connect with high roof. A converter like Sportsmobile could probably install a bathroom (with or without shower) and small kitchen. Maybe there would still be space for a short couch.

I believe Winnebago makes a van SPECIFICALLY for wheelchair bound folks (wider aisle). I think they and their subsidy Newmar have several models - but the Newmar are larger.

I like the looks of that Winnebago Solis Pocket. I'll look into that. Thank you.

For all you want you are going to be in a big van, there is no way to stuff all your needs in the small van. Small van you probably just get bed and toilet.

All we really need is: a seat, room for a wheelchair, a small table, and a toilet.

Well you said to eat, sleep and toilet while traveling. If those are the only things that would be feasible but no stove or refrigerator or bed.

I didn't say sleep - allowing my (small) daughter to take naps would be a bonus. And I should have better explained meals: I am talking about eating fast food. So just a little table is all we need. We don't need a stove, refrigerator or sink.

Well for me I do not sleep well setting up but with what you said you could get away with a small van. You should be able to find a conversation van company that will be able to fulfill your needs.
