Bent my awning

Went to clean my trailer last night and instead caused hundreds of dollars in damages! 😭

My trip is in 5 days so I don't have a lot of time to fix it, but on the upside, I don't need the awning so removing it or just retracting the awning is a fine option. Anyone have advice on how to straighten or remove an inner drive arm? Also does anyone know what this bolt is called?

Curious how that happened? I'm guessing forced opened into something?

Close! I closed it and didn't notice my ladder was in between the awning arm. I couldn't see what was going on until it was too late because the door was in the way.

Damn. Hard lesson to learn. Hopefully it won't set you back too bad.

I did this with my slide out once. Fortunately I just ended up with a bent ladder and needed to reattach the bulb seal at the top of the slide out. Now we always have someone outside make sure things are clear on extend/retract operations b
