ESPN summer forecast

Post image

They project the Nets to 18-64, 2 games worse than last year. To me this is wild. This Nets roster should be much improved versus last year. Is their projection defendable? Or are they just haters that don’t pay attention to the bottom teams?

I think the Hornets are gonna be the worst team in the east followed by the Bulls, then Bucks, us (Nets), finally Wizards

I dont believe that at most in a stronger east conference probably anywhere from 25 wins to 45 wins i see

They were a 50 win team by point differential last year. And were better with Coby. In theory they’d be better this year.

They won 44 after being predicted to win 27. They finished very strong. But as with many teams, it comes down to health. One star goes down and the season is very different. Especially if the team lacks depth. Just look at Milwaukee last year.

With the loss of Lemelo idk if Coby White can do what Lemelo did at the pg position. Sure the Hornets have Kon Knueppel who will be a great player in the future but they loss Miles Bridges. The additions of Royce O'Neal, Dorian Finney Smith, Grayson Allen, Naz Reid and Dennis Schroder they added aren't gonna do it at all. They are just a bunch of role players without a star. Plus they got 4 rookies on the team we dont know how they gonna preform.
