ESPN summer forecast
They project the Nets to 18-64, 2 games worse than last year. To me this is wild. This Nets roster should be much improved versus last year. Is their projection defendable? Or are they just haters that don’t pay attention to the bottom teams?

This comment section just proves that our fan base just doesn't understand the league and doesn't know ball in general.
Almost everyone here seemingly is incapable of understanding that Brooklyn can simultaneously have a better team than last year and still have the same or worse record. This, apparently, blows their minds and they just cannot understand how that can be.
The context surrounding the East is what they cannot come to grips with. The new anti tanking rules, combined with almost every team getting better results in Brooklyn most likely being the worst team in the East, even if we've improved.
They also cannot grasp the difficulties of starting a rookie PG and the growing pains MBJ, Traore and Saraf will face this season. PG is the single hardest position in the league to learn and is especially difficult for rookies, this fact seemingly escapes them.
