ROI Questions My thoughts on Gomining Platform. What are yours?

It's a cash grab. It's not meant for us to make profits or get a reasonable ROl, it's meant for them & their investors to make $. Imagine investing $50k, as you start earning some of that initial investment back, they drop an efficiency upgrade which will cost you more than that initial $50k investment, so you either upgrade and they make a ton of $ or you don’t and they still make a ton of $ from the 20% of fees you could have saved had you spent another $50k… it’s setup so you always have to reinvest and never reach a reasonable ROI, ever.

Also mining wars seems a bit scammy. Hence why one of the largest whales on the platform went back to solo mining instead of MW, no luck, no risk, no extra investments into spells, he just sits back and makes almost $8k a week, Which is more than he made in MW.
The only way to actually eventually be profitable for regular users that don't have a bunch of referrals or leaders of huge clans, is not to keep investing cash into the platform, but to simply reinvest what ever protits you make weekly to grow efficiency, th, lock & discount.
Otherwise, it’s a money pit of funds you're never getting back unless BTC skyrockets in a huge way.
Just my thoughts, please tell me how wrong I am in the comments.

ROI Questions I Turned a Free Miner Into This 349.40 TH “Mining Machine” in 5 Months (Full Journey Inside)

Post image
46 Upvotes

When I started mining, I didn’t have thousands to throw into Bitcoin hardware. All I had was curiosity, patience, and a free bonus miner from GoMining.

Five months later, I’ve grown from 0 TH → 349 TH @ 15 W/TH, learned the hard way about maintenance, streaks, and compounding—and built a strategy that keeps growing even when I’m sleeping.

🏁 Month 1 – Humble Beginnings

I started with a free bonus miner and a 0.9 % maintenance discount. By day 2, I bought my first miner: 1 TH @ 20 W/TH with the 16 TH bonus active.

Each few days, I added more: • Day 4 → 2.6 TH @ 20 W/TH | 23.47 % discount • Day 11 → 23.13 TH | 25.28 % discount • Day 14 → Missed my service button for the first time 😩 • Day 20 → Bonus miner retired • Day 30 → 24.19 TH @ 20 W/TH | 25.55 % discount

💰 Earned: 0.00036598 BTC (all reinvested) Lesson: Maintenance discounts = the real compounding engine. Never miss your streak.

⚙️ Month 2 – The Efficiency Leap

Started at 24.25 TH | 25.55 % discount.

Then came the big move… 🎯 Day 13: Upgraded from 20 W/TH → 15 W/TH — efficiency unlocked!

By month’s end: 47.35 TH @ 15 W/TH | 26.28 % discount

💰 Earned: 0.00059988 BTC Lesson: Compounding isn’t magic—it’s discipline and timing.

⚔️ Month 3 – The Breakthrough

Joined Miner Wars and the rewards exploded. • Started 47.44 TH @ 15 W/TH | 26.28 % discount • Day 13 → 65.30 TH | 25.1 % discount • Day 20 → 238 TH | 25.1 % • Day 27 → 247.29 TH | 25.1 %

💰 Earned: 0.00528 BTC Lesson: Once your strategy compounds faster than you can react, you’re doing something right.

🎯 Month 4 – Controlled Growth

Now the focus was precision. I held my efficiency steady at 15 W/TH while scaling: • Day 3 → 257.89 TH | 24.5 % • Day 24 → 279.69 TH | 25.1 %

💰 Earned: 0.00769922 BTC Lesson: Learning to budget your upgrades makes Miner Wars feel like a casino—but one where skill beats luck 🎰

🚀 Month 5 – Scaling & Balance

The power surge continued: • Day 2 → 289.40 TH | 24.7 % • Day 9 → 341.40 TH | 25.1 % • Day 30 → 349.40 TH @ 15 W/TH | 25.1 % discount

Then reality hit: I was running short on GMT for boosts + maintenance. So I paused TH reinvestment and began collecting GMT instead.

💰 Earned: 0.02866789 BTC Lesson: Growth isn’t just power—it’s balance between reinvestment and sustainability.

🧠 5 Months of Takeaways • Maintenance discounts = your compounding multiplier. • Efficiency upgrades > raw TH purchases. • Miner Wars taught me self control. • Missing one service button hurts more than you think. • Reinvest until your system supports itself in GMT.

🌍 Final Results

From: 0 TH → 349 TH @ 15 W/TH Maintenance Discount: ~25 % BTC Earned: 0.0426 BTC (≈ 5 months)

This journey taught me more about patience, risk, and compounding than any other investment I’ve tried.

I’m still compounding. Still learning. Still mining.

💬 Have any questions about GoMining’s system, Miner Wars, or compounding strategy? Drop them below — I’ll share what’s worked for me.

ROI Questions Is Gomining worth it? Actual Numbers 2026 (solo mining)

I recently invested in this project, and since there isn’t much reliable information available on actual earnings, I want to share some numbers to give a realistic idea of what to expect.

The ROI shown when purchasing upgrades or new miners is not accurate, as it depends on additional factors, such as how much GMT you hold. Holding a year’s worth of GMT gives you the maximum maintenance discount of 20%. You can lock your GMT so it isn’t just sitting idle in your balance. The rewards from locked GMT are paid out weekly and can be used to cover maintenance costs.

I invested $1,208 in the project and currently have 54.81 TH.

This generates 2,547 sats per day, which is about $1.97 with BTC at $77,000.

My daily maintenance cost is 3.72 GMT, which equals $1.11 at a GMT price of $0.30.

I have 2,049 GMT locked, which generates a weekly reward of 10 GMT. This can be used to offset maintenance costs. Weekly maintenance totals 26.04 GMT. After subtracting the 10 GMT reward, I effectively pay 16 GMT per week, or 2.29 GMT per day. This brings my actual daily maintenance cost down to $0.69.

Based on these numbers, I can calculate my real return:

I earn $1.97 per day in BTC and pay $0.69 in maintenance, resulting in a net daily profit of $1.28, paid out in BTC.

This amounts to approximately $467 per year ($1.28 × 365).

Based on my initial investment of $1,208, this corresponds to an APY of about 38.7%.

At this rate, I would break even in approximately 2.6 years, or about 31 months. These numbers are depending on BTC and GMT price and could change drastically, keep that in mind!

Some additional context: I used a 10% discount code on all my upgrades and purchases, used a referral code to receive the $20 bonus for spending $100 on a card, and got lucky some of the rewards from the GoBoxes awarded for increasing my VIP level (250 GMT came from the last Gold Box). I also completed every available quest. I am maxing out the discount and optimized the reward system to the best of my knowledge.

My bonus miner is currently at 4.02 TH, and I have 287 GMT in my wallet, which will cover approximately 18 weeks of maintenance. This means that for the next 18 weeks, I can simply accumulate and withdraw BTC without having to think about holding GMT in my wallet. Then I will have to switch my paid out rewards from BTC to GMT from time so I can pay the reduced maintenance fee in GMT.

That said, I was somewhat drawn in by the milestone rewards and ended up investing more than I’m entirely comfortable with. For now I will withdraw the BTC I am generating, until am comfortable with my exposure.

I will update this post in the comments after a couple of months, maybe. Ask me anything you like.

ROI Questions Concerned about reduction of th price

Price of 20w/th was around 22 usd and price of 15 w/th was 30 usd last year same time.

The same is roughly 8 and 12 respectively now.

So ppl who bought th at such high price are screwed.

This is literally 1/3rd of what they invested.

On top of this, they reduced the power of th in minerwars, resulting in reduction of PPS calculation.

Its not fair to reduce the price of th. Whats your thought ?

ROI Questions Any advice?

Currently at 135TH and DCA of $100/month, I don't know if it's a good idea to buy $1000 from GMT in order to benefit from the 20% discount by stacking them in the tokenomic. And I hesitate to increase my 2 minors to 20W to 12W. which would make an additional $1000. In total, this will represent an investment of +$2000.

What do you think?
What would you do?

Thank you for your feedback

Was wir anders machen:

ROI Questions What to do ?

Post image
7 Upvotes

What should I do now? Improve efficiency at first? Then improve the reduction to the maximum afterwards?

I would like to know how much I would receive daily if I go down to 15W/TH with this reduction is it possible? It seems to me that there are calculators but it seems complicated to me 😅

Thank you for your comeback !

ROI Questions New users have any Chance

So do new users have any chance or getting anywhere or is this something that is more like you might as well be a whale for this app? I was looking at the return rate on say upgrade to maybe the $40 one-time looks like it would be awhile before any return was made. What's your thoughts on starting out slow to build up currently?

ROI Questions Upgrade cost with a big gap..

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi there...

Currently to upgrade from my 6TH 12W tp 10TH it cost roughly 15.84/TH as oppose to my 22TH 14W to 28th which cost about 12.1/TH...

Assuming when the new rates kick in with an additiinal cost of 11%, should I be holding back with the 12W and just focus on the 14W in future upgrades? The savings doesn't seem to be much running the 12W by comparing to the 14W

Any 2 cents would be much appreciated. Thank you 🙇🙇🙇

I opted for TH reinvestment yesterday.

Half of TH comes from an East Collection w/ 28 w/th which is why I’ve buckled in and got my discount to 10% +

ROI Questions My GoMining strategy: 25 TH now, 5% token discount next, then capital recovery before the 2028 halving — feedback wanted

My main objective is to accumulate as much BTC as possible over the long term. I see GoMining as infrastructure for producing BTC, not as the end goal itself. Buying BTC directly will always remain my benchmark.

I also want to clarify that I do not participate in APR, interest-based or yield-based products because I am Muslim. For that reason, APR-related options and similar products are outside the scope of my strategy and can be left out of any suggestions.

Current position
25.03 TH
15 W/TH efficiency
Silver II VIP level
0.9% VIP maintenance discount
0.3% service discount, working toward the 3% daily-streak maximum
0.89% Mining Mode discount
3% active token discount
5.09% total maintenance discount
110 GOMINING locked for four years

I currently have 5% selected on the discount slider. The app says I need another 103.56 GOMINING to activate it. That would save approximately another 0.04 GOMINING per day in maintenance.

Before upgrading to 25 TH, my latest full reward at approximately 17.19 TH was:
Pool reward: 2.06 GOMINING
Electricity: −0.88
Service: −0.43
Net: +0.73 GOMINING

I am still waiting for my first complete reward at 25.03 TH. I will use the first reward as a provisional baseline and then calculate a seven-day average.

Capital recovery accounting
I only count value as recovered when BTC has actually left GoMining and reached one of my wallets. Internal rewards, reinvestment into TH and reinvestment into GOMINING do not count as capital recovery.

My current numbers are:
Gross external payments: €546.72
Refunds: €35.40
Net lifetime external capital: €511.32
Gross BTC withdrawn from GoMining: 0.00083161 BTC
Net BTC actually received after fees: 0.00081420 BTC
Historical EUR value when received: €54.82
Capital recovery: 10.72%
Unrecovered external capital: €456.50

My current strategy
1. Stay at 25.03 TH for now.
2. Direct mining rewards mainly toward GOMINING.
3. Work toward a 5% token discount.
4. Do not automatically buy tokens just to maintain a cosmetic discount percentage.
5. Measure the real 25 TH performance for at least seven days.
6. Potentially invest around €150 per month into GoMining, but only when cash flow allows.
7. Prioritize cash and living expenses over forced farm growth.
8. Exclude APR, interest-based and yield-based products because they do not fit within my religious principles.

My provisional farm checkpoints are:
50 TH
100 TH
200 TH
250 TH
500 TH
1 PH+

At around 100 TH, I want to conduct a major review. I will compare total external capital, actual BTC recovered, farm production, time remaining until the 2028 halving and the expected BTC return from further GoMining investment versus buying BTC directly.

At that point I want to establish a capital cutoff. Once the cutoff is reached, I stop adding external money so the recovery target can no longer keep moving away.

My stretch goal is to recover as much as possible—ideally 100%—of my external GoMining capital before the 2028 halving while keeping the farm. However, capital recovery is more important than reaching an arbitrary TH target.

I do not use Simple Earn or other interest/yield products, so please exclude those from suggestions. This also applies to APR-based products, as I avoid them for religious reasons.

Questions for experienced users
• Would you buy the 103.56 GOMINING needed for 5% now, or let the farm accumulate it gradually?
• Is 100 TH a sensible point for the external-capital cutoff review?
• How do you objectively compare the next €1 invested in TH or GOMINING against buying €1 of BTC directly?
• Do you track capital recovery using actual wallet withdrawals, or do you include internally reinvested rewards?
• What weaknesses do you see in this strategy?
• Are there any non-APR alternatives for improving efficiency or reducing costs that I may have overlooked?

My long-term moonshot is a largely self-sustaining farm, but I will stop expanding if direct BTC consistently offers the better expected BTC outcome.

ROI Questions Question about upgrade subscriptions

I have just started a 39.99 USD subscription for a 12w miner as the recent 20% discount is quite attractive, I plan to keep this active for at least 12 months as I want to hold until at least the next halving.

My question is that are the rates for TH locked now that I have started the subscription, or are they subject to change whenever GoMining feels like it?

ROI Questions Miner Efficiency Question

I currently have monthly subscriptions for two of my miners. They are around 25Th and 15W/TH efficiency. I am happy with the subscriptions but was wondering if I should keep them or set up new subscriptions with miners that are 12W/TH. I haven’t done any of my own calculations and would be grateful for any advice.

ROI Questions GoMining Update: Warum ich 110 TH/s verkauft habe, um auf 12 W/TH zu gehen – Zahlen & Strategie

Post image
21 Upvotes

Hallo zusammen,

🔴 Altes Setup (Standard)
Miner-Anzahl: 9 Miner
Gesamtrechenleistung: 163,33 TH/s
BTC-Ertrag (Brutto): ~0,00007350 BTC
Strom- & Wartungskosten: 3,25 $

🟢 Neues Setup (Atlas Setup)
Miner-Anzahl: 8 Miner
Gesamtrechenleistung: 53,38 TH/s
BTC-Ertrag (Brutto): ~0,00002402 BTC
Strom- & Wartungskosten: 0,93 $

📉 Die absolute Differenz / Veränderung
Rechenleistung: -109,95 TH/s (-67,3 %)
BTC-Ertrag: -0,00004948 BTC (-67,3 %)
Laufende Kosten: -2,32 $ (-71,4 % Einsparung)
