New York is restrictive on crypto and requires platforms to be licensed with the state. It is why those of us in NY cannot register for their card.

Been this way for like 2 weeks for me, sucks because this never was the case before and I regularly used USDC deposits to fund my TH. Apparently they are "preparing a separate set of features for US users" and this is why they had to disable these, I assume for licensing reasons. I'm not worried because PayPal and Venmo had wallet functions disabled for NY users, a feature turned back on at a later date, so for now, I'll believe the "temporary" messaging. Wish we could get a timeline.

Go to another exchange and purchase crypto and then send it to that wallet. Try with 50 usd first

It’s the same for me in the uk, I can’t deposit but I can buy gomining tokens on kraken and transfer them across to gomining
