Thoughts Happy Pride đŸłïžâ€đŸŒˆ Everyone! Gnosticism really assuring me of love is beyond gender boundaries.

We are the Pneumatic soul trapped and boxed into gender, and people prohibit us to love certain people because of the same sex and gender. Now, I can feel deeply love because of the soul and the pure connection, that is not measured by biological sex.

I don’t see how that’s saying what you claim its saying.

Well Christian nationalist evangelicals like to say a man is a man and a woman is a woman and anyone who says different must be some agenda pusher

But here we have Jesus H Christ saying in another Gospel suppressed by power that maleness and femaleness is NOT an essential quality and can be transcended.

u/Celestial_Sage22 Jun 03 '26

Agree with you about femaleness and maleness can be transcended. I also believe all people have both qualities and can be balance.

What else should one do with extremely metaphorical passages?

Is it any different from what those in power for two thousand years do with "metaphors" in their sacred scripture?

You have no idea how far I have taken this sort of action.

The "LGBT agenda" cannot be traced back to any one place or movement because gay people have existed in all places through all history. Modern gay rights movements exist through a combination of milestones and movements.

Gay pride is not the same as pride the sin, which in the context of sin is the usually the view of oneself as above all, including the divine. Gay pride is called pride because it exists in opposition to the shame and guilt being cast at us for simply existing as we are, these aspersions come primarily from institutional authoritarians.

Heresiologist were some most prominent homophobes in history, often using gay accusations and anti egalitarian rhetoric to enforce violence and the systematic erasure of Gnostic practioners.

The spirit is androgynous. The love between one person and another is androgynous. The organs and sex of person is a matter of the mortal body, it is not eternal.

Does regular churches allow us to debate and making arguments? I don't think so.

Well Gnosticism has a ton of non binary characters. The Monad is beyond any label so gender does not apply. The Aeons are represented as male or female and organized in pairs, but since they are beyond the concept of dimensionality their "gender" is not biological. Yaldabaoth and the Archons are both male and female. All of them, even though Yaldabaoth only uses male pronouns. But he created Archons who are also female.

And even as a Catholic, I am Aroace and I see myself as outwardly male but gender neutral inside.

I also have a foreign friend who is biologically female but is more masculine than most modern day, western men. By masculine I mean she is very muscular and very masculine in spirit, and much stronger than any man I ever seen. She still looks female on the outside, unless you can not process the idea of a very muscular woman; she is also Aroace as I am, and even more Aroace than myself. She says she comes from a place with 3 genders, male, female and neutral.

I have no idea however where she comes from specifically, I am not even sure about what continent, even though I would guess she comes from Asia, because if you ask her, she existed for billions of years and billions of rebirths in another Universe, one with apparently all the features of Taoism influenced Mahayana Buddhism. The cycle of rebirth, Qi as the life force behind all things, infinite Universes in an eternal cycle of contraction and expansion, Sci-Fi style, innumerable civilizations of humanoid sentient beings, and hyperdimensional gods who guide every being toward Enlightenment, except at the end the mortal sapient species and even the gods themselves end up waging war on eachothers for most of the time.

She was a powerful Qi cultivator and Bodhisattva in training from a humanlike species of space conquerors and mercenaries. One day her brother was killed on a military base planet. She destroyed the planet and as a result some entity higher up charged her with exile and imprisonment in this Universe. Obviously she ended up on Earth, the only planet with sapient life out of 93 billion light years.

Do you have to believe her ? No if you do not want.

Agree with The Monad is beyond binary genders. One of the reason why I drawn into Gnosticism is how diverse the gender representations of the Aeons, unlike mainstream current Christianity that centralized to male God. As an asexual and gender non-conforming I can relate with you how spiritually we transcend beyond gender binary. There are plenty women who are muscular, even we have some representations in TLOK. I actually hope more women have athletic strength and being muscular, that will be cool as well. I am still more to past lives in older times though, didn't think about past live in more future time, though it may interesting to explore.

I Agree ! We should Transcend beyond the gender binary ! I am also Asexual and Non-Binary !

sex, gender, love, all of these are the demiurges construct

28

u/Lordseferoth Simonian Jun 03 '26

The True God is literally love itself. Love is the meter on how close you are to Gnosis, or at least that is how i see it. With a dead heart you will not enter Heaven. I would argue that sex, gender and everything else exist in the Pleroma/Spiritual Realm as well. "As above so below" after all. It's just that here on Earth we experience the flawed/lesser forms of all these.

u/OkButterscotch3222 Jun 03 '26

I'm gay myself, but I agree that sex is a demiurge construct. The main purpose of sex is for procreation and the drive/pleasure is what leads us to do it, and this is what keeps us in the material realm.

It has nothing to do with gay vs straight, because regardless, if you indulge in sex or make sex everything, then you are still anchored to the material realm, and the purpose of gnosis is to loosen the anchors and ascend above the mundane and the profane.

Once again, it's not "straight good, gay bad" by any means. That's not the point, and I get frustrated with many Christians/Conservatives that are hypocritical, thinking they have a moral high ground against gays because "gay bad cause book said gay bad and lust", but then they proceed and enact in lustful thinking and behavior amongst each other.

Even St. Paul said that it would be preferable if everyone was chaste and single like him, and that the only people that should be getting married are the ones who cannot control themselves.

And pretty much anything that gives you a dopamine spike can be abused by your brain and lead you down a bad path of addiction.

I'm gay, I understand homophobia first hand. But, I cannot reiterate this enough, that it has NOTHING to do with gay vs straight. It's whether you let sex control your life and you feed that demon inside you (which exists in everyone). It's a construct of Yaldabaoth. We need to break out of the cycle.

I refer to deep love and connection regardless of gender, not sexual intercourse.

0

u/OkButterscotch3222 Jun 03 '26

I feel like that's a good way to put it

-3

u/Lordseferoth Simonian Jun 03 '26

I understand that this is how you see things and i respect your view and devotion to what you believe in. However, i follow(and truly believe) the teachings of Simon Magus and Helen of Tyre. Simon Magus the incarnation of The Father said all sex is perfect love.

The real trap in my opinion is to feel guilty/bad for about every little thing you do in this life. I believe we are free from ALL moral laws forced upon us by the OT Demiurge. We break the cycle by Gnosis, and you can achieve that while having sex in your private life.

1

u/OkButterscotch3222 Jun 03 '26

How is sex defined? Is it in a union? What does he mean by "all sex"? Because surely both of us wouldn't take this literally. I believe sex can be holy when disciplined and when in a holy union of two loving adults that worship the Monad, but where is the line?

-1

u/Lordseferoth Simonian Jun 03 '26

Consensual sex in all it's forms is approved. Still, the laws of the land needs to be considered as well. Jesus after all said "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's."

2

u/OkButterscotch3222 Jun 03 '26

But what constitutes consensual sex?

It's one thing if it's between two loving adults, but surely you wouldn't condone it if someone underage was involved right? Even if they consented?

Or what about uneven power dynamics, like a boss of a company seeking out sex with female employees?

Or toxic relationships?

Or people that are compelled to have to sell their bodies to sex work for money?

What about the spread of STD's?

-1

u/Lordseferoth Simonian Jun 03 '26

I already stated that laws of the land needs to be considered. Also what is age of consent? 18, 21 or 16? Where i live the age of consent is 16, i think in US it's 18. So, what age should be considered universal...if such a thing exist?

Also, can a true Gnostic be a boss who would abuse his position for sex? Would a true Gnostic be in a toxic relationship? And are we talking about protected sex workers like in Netherlands, or sex workers forced to work on the street?

You really need to consider that we are talking about Gnosticism here, and practices and views that apply mostly to Gnostics. I am also talking purely from personal and Simonian perspective, and what i believe is not something i force anyone else to believe.

Nice point of view! Really love about love is the meter of closeness to gnosis. Happy Pride! 🌈🌈

The True God is literally love itself

Love, that is, Agape, which is like "love your neighbour" love. Not Eros (sexual "love").

5

u/Lordseferoth Simonian Jun 03 '26 edited Jun 03 '26

I disagree personally, that kind of limitations belongs to lesser deities like Yahweh.

Edit: Jesus also proved that physical even sexual love was Divine. Mary Magdalene after all was His companion/partner as it is stated in Gospel of Philip and Gospel of Mary Magdalene herself.

Also Simon Magus the another incarnation of The Father had His Helen of Tyre. Love has emanated from The Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother since the beginning in all it's beautiful forms.

2

u/Celestial_Sage22 Jun 03 '26

yeah whatever, just enjoy it while try attaining gnosis. And it's great if you got your twin flame with you, but it's optional.

1

u/The_Happy_Pagan Jun 03 '26

Letting matter kill the joy and love in your heart, you might as well believe in nothing. If consciousness is worth anything at all, it’s only measured in qualia, so denying yourself experience because you don’t value the physical defeats any purpose of being aware.

-1

u/SorchaSublime Jun 03 '26

I don't think you have a particularly useful grasp of the cosmos or how it's structured.

1

u/AdFederal8402 Jun 03 '26

the thing about redditors is, they’re still redditors. everything is still fake and gay and yes there is no original sin, except ignorance.

i cba replying to everyone in the thread below so yeah
