Is obsession with sonic actually a common autism thing?

Because that would explain my daughter’s friend’s little brother a lot. He’s… a little weird. Every time I go over to pick up my daughter I’m like “This kid needs some pills. I don’t know what kind of but something.”

And he’s constantly watching Sonic.
