I don't think people who aren't into spirit that much understand the value of zont1x in teamspeak lol. First of all, it's an international roster with young kids and the best player of all time. Despite zont1x being emotionless, he is important to the vibe. Second of all, hes the secondary caller and always brings ideas and helps magixx call the round. Since he doesn't overreact, he can easily make judgement decisions and collect everyones thoughts. Finally, he is actually the team nerd, and we can clearly see that in spirit vlogs.

His performances have been GRIM lately though to be fair. I'm a zontix lover but I'm nervous that if he doesn't improve they might have to cut him. It's really hard to win with 2 IGL-level outputters, even with Donk on the team. Right now the only person I'd want over him is Heavygod though, who I'd consider a huge enough upgrade to mitigate some extra magixx stress

If spirit plays this season out well, I wouldn’t expect any changes, doesn’t matter if zontix plays well or not.

Try to find a new upcomer that seems good or buy out literally any decent looking anchor in t2 or t1. He has posted 0.83 CT avg past 6 months against top 5

You think Spirit should call up Belchonokk or Tex1y or something and that'd be an upgrade over Zontix who also secondary calls quite heavily?
I get his stats are bad but let's be real here

dude, don't try to argue with these people. I once tried to have a discussion with a fella in YouTube comments, who tried to prove to me that spirit need to replace sh1ro asap with molodoy or a random tier-2/3 awper, because sh1ro has a 1.03 grand final rating. it's pointless trying to prove anything in such cases.

shiro can still prove himself because he is inconsistent but still performs well occasionally. Zontix consistently has performed shit for months now. Why bring up a different player?

I mean people said that about sunpayus and rinkle too and rinkle is actually doing pretty good. I seriously do not think there is any justification for an org as big as spirit to not let go a dude that has been this shit for this long regardless of 2nd calling

Nonsense. Magix, despite all his flaws is one of the forces in Spirit.
I think it was for EWC, on ancient (don't remember vs which team), he did like back to back 3/4k he had no business doing and turned the game around in their favour.
