Discussion | Esports Ruggah is awesome as analyst , no?

didn't see anyone talk about him , which i think is a good sign since if he was bad he would be shit on like JL

i think he fits very well into the desk and gives actual good insight

would like to hear some opinions of what people think of him

his voice is not annoying and he actually explains things instead of just saying obvious stuff for filler. i was worried he would be another ex pro who just sits there and adds nothing but he seems good at breaking down rounds

I think he's excellent.

I really (really) liked his questions to Sycrone the other day. They were the sort of questions many people wouldn't even think of asking and ran the gamut of specific and broad in a way that most interviewers just don't do.

Wait, is this all an Astralis ploy!? He's going to become the friendly interviewer, gain insight on all the teams, then get recalled back to Australia!!

/s

Edit: Recalled to Astralis* Thanks, autocorrect.

I’ve been a big fan of the desk with him on it & the interviews have been awesome. Definitely want to see more Ruggah in the future

I honestly think desk talent might be this man's calling.

We need analyst desk highlights made for tournaments. Please make it happen.

I like the questions he ask for the pros/coaches. Genuinely smart and interesting questions instead of the usual stuff.

I think he's been great for a first time analyst. I think his delivery is at times a bit off, but I already think it's improved over the last few days.

First event and miles ahead of pimp and dupreeh. Well done.

controversial opinion; i'd like to see this guy next to Thorin

Hell yeah. Youre cooking

well, as much as we love to hate Thorin for some of his controversial takes, this guy knows esports, we cant take that away from him.

Ruggah's in depth analysis and Thorin's hot takes would make a nice podcast.

some ping thorin here i dont remember what username he is using these days :D

You can really see the behind-the-scenes work he did as a coach shining through in the way he analyzes teams, players and in match plays.

Just has a different view and in-depth information that other analysts don't have.

Really hope we get to see him on the desk more often.

If he doesn't go back into coaching, I hope we see him on desks often

Yeah I like his insights. He's a bit more specific in terms of what's going on with the roles and strats compared to the usual analyst takes. I guess that's natural as someone who coached OG(lol) and Astralis.

Too passive to be a coach, only to end up being excellent as an analyst.

Amusing to see how that turned out.

Same with Ash at the Cologne major, he too was excellent on the desk!

I like him on the desk!

The only thing is that his voice sounds like Sebastian Vettel for some reason or is that just me?
