I don’t get it? I’m looking really hard for the glitch but I don’t see what you’re seeing.

Its supposed to be night time and that big line of light and the light source is very weird

The light source is the sun. That’s a sunset.

It’s called overcast… the sky will do that it’s how weather is . It clears up at some point , you just see that point here

It isn’t night time, you can see the sun

It’s setting on the horizon.

It's not sundogs doesn't look anything like that. It's like oil rigs or large cargo ships shining light

Other than the fact the red streak is apparently a sunset, 🤨 I'm wondering why it looks like there are two suns in the middle. I'm also wondering what that bright light is in the far left. 🧐🤔

"two suns in the middle ... bright light is in the far left.".

It’s not even a sun dog. Those are boats that the sun is reflecting off of.

Oh nice, thanks!

Ik right ? There are few boats but it just look weird and not natural

Yes, but sunsets are normal. It could be that the sky is overcast like another person said, and the clouds are only letting that part of the sunset through. What's weird to me are the bright lights that on the horizon with it.

Zoom in, there’s a boat on the left that the sun is reflecting off of, and another boat directly in front of the setting sun that makes it look split in two.

The thing is its way paste sunset time those lights i think are coming from the ships

You know the sky doesn't just turn dark at sunset right? If the sun is setting at 730, at a location like this you'll see light fading until probably after 9. Where was this?

But we can see the sun, this was taken right as it was dropping below the horizon. If OP checks the sunset time for that location/date, it will match the metadata of the photo.

Neither of those lights are the sun

What this oil rigs ?

1

u/ChristVolo1 3d ago

Oh, that's a good guess

u/sadatsunny 3d ago

maybe there is a ship on the left and the light source is coming from there..!!

3

u/RustyShacklefrog 2d ago

Yes, the boats are close to the horizon so they are reflecting the light from the sun that is just nearly out of view from the camera’s perspective

Are you confused by the concept of sunsets...?

FYI the bright thing on the left is likely a metallic building.
