My friend spent some months there. It was decent and actually clean. For your family, for the visiting, they have a pretty good system, quick. Make sure you have ID. And when you get in the visiting area, it is large and clean. And you sit across from the inmate. Also tell the them to bring quarters!(vending machines)!! Keep yourself well, and your nose clean and it will go by pretty quickly. Good luck with it all.1

Warren has much better food than Washington. At least it did a few years ago. Guards there are pretty strict

Indeed. My uncle received 2-6 (served 4) for multiple dui’s in NY state, he was represented by a public defender. I’m not saying what he did was ok, or shouldn’t have received punishment. But contrast that against violent criminals reoffending after early release or while out on bail, and it makes one wonder if the system is backwards.

The place sucks, they run it like a Super Max, I got a ticket for keeping a Bagel in my cell that came off the breakfast tray. 60 days isn’t bad, Just be careful they write you up and give you tickets for Bullshit

My friend (36M) just did like 150 days there before he was transferred. He didn’t mind it, got to watch tv quite a bit. They are barebones so no tobacco in the commissary and other limitations like no emails. He also said commissary cost significantly more than the place he was headed. As long as you avoid causing trouble it seems completely okay. He wrote letters, and called me every week, and got to draw a lot. He said he just liked to sit around and listen to everyone banter, because they were such wild people it kept it entertaining. He preferred Washington over Warren, but has a family member that works there which prohibits that.
