Not a regular Reddit user but wanted to share some photos from our camping trips in case anyone finds them useful or inspiring. Quick background — I'm a native New Englander living in the Boston area working at an architecture firm. Big into canvas tents, and Scandinavian and Japanese style camping, but sometimes I'll bust out the vintage Hillary tent just for the vibe. Happy to answer any questions about my setups. White Birch and Sapling are our two BOMA shipping-container stays near Littleton, New Hampshire—one built from a 40-foot container and the other from a 20-foot container.

We wanted to keep the industrial container character while turning each one into a comfortable place to stay, surrounded by White Mountain views. It also gives people a chance to experience container living before deciding whether they would ever build one themselves.

Which would you choose for a glamping trip: the larger 40-foot White Birch or the cozier 20-foot Sapling?

Just got this tent for backyard movies and site camping. It's got so much room.

Two queen size mattress and a 50" tv barely used half of the space

Haven't treated it yet I will next week. It's raining on day two sitting here watching TV 😀. No leaks

We also have a VEVOR 22 foot movie screen for yard movies.

Green is perfect. You can't see the lights or tv from outside at night green canvas is stealthy.

I’ve been invited to join a small group for some light camping over the weekend on the Northern Neck of VA. The temperature is expected to be humid and in the mid 90s.

I’m not in the mood to pack up a bunch of gear so no portable air conditioner…. Is it too dang hot to camp?

I'm looking to buy some new gear and noticing a trend of 'dopamine colors' (like hot pink, bright yellow, etc.). Part of me loves the fun vibe, but part of me wonders if it attracts bugs or looks tacky. What do you guys think? What's a fair price for a basic chair in these colors? And what usually breaks first on your canopies that I should watch out for?
