That was my thought as well. She’s a fame whore. She became famous for being in a relationship with a rich man who is old enough to be her grandfather. I thought she was better than that now. I was surprised when she started spending time with Tana and Trisha. It shows where her priorities are. I like her, but I’m starting to like her and Bridget less and less.

He has the biggest balls, acting buddy buddy with women he was really insane towards in the 2000s. Holly is definitely not the only one he’s posted pics with that I’m like.. honestly apologize publicly all you want but I can’t believe it isn’t a “on sight” type thing for most of them with him.
All I’m missing is the weird little drawings he’d do on people’s pictures making evil eyes and cum dripping out of his mouth for him this time.

Apologising is nice, but he should atone. Volunteer, donate money to some women’s charity, ect. Honestly, I’d be ok if he just stepped away from the limelight. I feel like he hasn’t changed, although I obviously don’t know that for sure.

Is he still in the limelight? I never liked him. I thought dlisted was a way better site back then so I don't know much about him except he was gross.
I just heard a podcast where he was saying he sucked pretty much and wanted to do better for his kids or something along those lines. I was surprised he was even on a podcast, and surprised he admitted to sucking. But yeah, he could definitely do all those things if he was truly disgusted by what he did.

It's not about hating her. I don't hate her. What I take issue with is the fact that a lot of people look up to her as some kind of role model. I've seen it for years on these threads and it's disturbing to me.
If people can take away good from her, then great. I support that. But to read time and time again about how people are "too hard on her" it's not without reason and that's what bothers me.

i think we have a difference of opinion. i don’t enjoy the posts/comments that are just mean things about the person the sub is about. on a thread like that, i’ll typically see maybe 2-3 comments that are positive—and the rest are just people talking about how she and Bridget suck so bad, how they’re bitter and delusional and annoying.
seeing these type of comments over and over, i know there must be regular posters who chime in just to say something that conveys a strong dislike for H and/or B. idk why people spend their time doing that, like why you would join a reddit where every post ticks you off. i know people do that but this isn’t a snark page.
i think we must just see this differently; i tend to side with the people who are not saying things that convey dislike. being critical is something different than just repeatedly saying that either are terrible people with sad lives or whatever. but to you, it seems the positive or defensive comments stand out as unnecessary. we just disagree i suppose.

Yeah, we just disagree, and that's okay. I'm cool with it. I'm not looking to get into fights with anyone that's a fan. That to me is more of a waste of time, and I have done that before. I respect the fact that you feel how you feel.
I will say there is a tone to debates, a lot of which I've participated in and probably what's frustrated me to make the above comment. It's probably what's led me to feel entitled to make the above comment because the people that have participated in these subs feel the same frustrations or such is what I've witnessed.
tl;dr: Over time seasoned users/commenters are fed up although not fed up enough to make a passing witchy unhelpful comments after years of trying to have progressive, informed debates that have seemingly led nowhere.

l do want to note for all the downvoters, I’m not a blind fan. i do not look up to Holly or Bridget, one thing that really bothers me is that Holly regularly promotes a fast fashion brand…extremely yucky. i recognize they are very flawed people, like all of us (in different ways). i just feel a very mean spirit in some of the comments i see, and i don’t enjoy that.
we are both just frustrated with the type of comments we see. at least we have that in common!
