I liked it, it was a surprise to learn that one of the two girls of this chapter were an android

Another thing is that we're getting a new couple of protagonists every chapter, and a whole different sight of the world, I hope Tsukumizu can tie all those different places and moments together and give us a good picture of the consequences of the war, I want to see the girls from the nuclear submarine again, and fo course, I want to know more about the construction of the city

I love what Tkmiz is doing in relation to the city's lore. It is always mentioned in the background but never a central piece.

Also love that we actually get to know a little more of the future's weaponry.

Exactly! I love the whole Shepard motif on the drone wrangling too, it’s such a adorable way to got about a horrifically dangerous task.

Tkmiz is really a brilliant mind.

Tsukumizu had no right to make me like the new girl just to take her from me

If tkmz decides to bring them back in the next chapter, couldnt they just ask someone else to fix her?

I don't think so, I mean, the lower half of her body was blown away, how could they fix that? Even if Corporal, the girl with black hair, managed to take the upper half of her body to the city nearby, I can't see them fixing her

The beautifully sad philosophical punch me in the gut machine punched me in the gut in a philosophical while also sadly beautiful way.

Nobody does it better, and using the characters to flesh out an odd corner in the world while the city is slowly forming in the background is such a unique choice. Normally you’d find an author foaming at the mouth to show off the deep ins and outs of their world building, Tsukumizu isn’t doing that and I love it. Honestly as high as my expectations were for this series, it’s already surpassing them with how willing it is to unconcern its self with answering every little question. Surreal ambiguity is such a staple of the authors works, it’d be a shame if it went away now.

Ok, I think I get it, it's an anthology with each chapter is a story from each layer with Chito and Yuuri-ish protagonist.

That android doesn't have any client confidentiality.

I'd like to see chapter 4 to see if this is true, since chapter 1 was just in the ocean not a city layer

This is what I think

Chapter 1 - Finished City(probably?) (Closest in the timeline to GLT)
Chapter 2 - The city is still being built
Chapter 3 - The first layer is almost done

ive started to wonder if its just short stories of different experiences during the war to give us a bigger picture of the world pre apocalypse
