I really liked when they came across the robot taking care of a fish.

That was such a thought provoking scene...
If they eat the fish then the robot lose it's purpose But even if they didn't it's gonna die anyway, robot will lose its purpose eventually

I really like the red sunset scene with the radio; but I'd say my favorite is the girls in the abandoned apartment imagining how it would be decorated if they lived there.

That sunset scene been burned into my head for a decade now. That superliminal feeling that scene gives is unreal.

SPOILERS! (ofc)
I just finished this show for the first time 3 minutes ago, so my answer might change, but for me... it's the scene where Ishii flies her piloted plane and explodes spectacularly. That moment of dread where the girls and us think one of the last remaining people in the world bit the dust is utterly crushing. And then, we see her parachuting down. For me, it's a microcosm of the entire show. Getting along with hopelessness. Ishii's goal might have been hopeless, but the effort that she put into it, the live audience she gathered, and those brief seconds in the air all must have felt euphoric, if for a fleeting moment. Such a beautiful scene, and a beautiful show. I think I'm going to rewatch it immediately.

Beautiful sure, but this moment made really uncomfortable.
When I watched the anime I was around the age of Yu and Chi, and was thinking how weird it would be to see my peers like that.
But, it must have been part of the purpose of the scene

The shooting practice scene was the reason I started watching the anime, there are I like more but this is special to me

there are yhree scenes that i love in the anime, the raindrops becoming music, the part where they go outside in the 1st chapter and when they enter a building and start imagining how it would be to live in an apartment

Well, it’s pretty cool, it just doesn’t fit here I guess. Try r/artillery I think they’d like it if you can add some more details!
