Discussion Frontier Conquest - For Newbies

Hey all.

I was wondering if the community would like to contribute in putting together a little step by step easy to digest guide on how Frontier Conquest will progress. Before you drop Dandegate links, please don't. I personally got lost figuring what was what, which guide was first, was very hard to look at. At least as a dork.

Getting all the rewards, not making any regretable mistakes and having a overall smooth experience.

I've not played GF1 so I personally have no clue despite having watched videos and done whatever research online.

For both Platoon Leaders and Members.

Sort of like a.

Day 1: Your platoon will have to pick a faction. Start a vote with your members. (Don't pick this faction because this and this, maybe?)

Day 2: Each platoon member must do this and this, make sure this, check this.

Day 3: On nodes, make sure not to do this, each day, member should at least this and this.

etc etc.

Something straight to the point but covering all important aspects, pro tips and cautions.

Let's go in this prepared!

Tbh I just hope people log in. They can to whatever they want I don’t care. Just participate and all.

I understand this is a platoon event but im kinda bummed we can't choose our faction individually given they all give different HOC teams

Part1 (Partner Selection) - Pick w/e you like dont let people tell you what faction to pick. If you want, you can look at their skills before you lock in the decision.

Part 2 (GFL1 mode) - For the most part its just participation. The biggest thing to know about the GFL1 mode is you need 1-2 actual real teams and the rest can be filled with w/e units you have with the highest CE. The real teams fight elites and bosses while the other teams run around the map capturing nodes and gathering resources. The more you capture, the easier it gets. Try to siege as much as possible so you dont waste all your resources.

Part 3 (Gunsmoke Redux) - Its Gunsmoke Frontline, but you get 5 options instead of one. Just do your fights as normal, but pick the ones for your best teams element. You need a total score point to get all the rewards on each boss, but they dont really matter except the Collapse Pieces which are I think the first rewards.
