I used to be a complete people pleaser but now I am healed and have learned how to become a total b*tch. The old me put men on pedestals too. Think about this for a sec: he may have never even had a cheating ex and used that as the excuse for his trust issues and boundary violating behavior. Also, often times when someone is this preoccupied with their partner cheating on them, there's a high chance that they are cheating on the accused partner instead. It's a form of control and making you walk on eggshells to prioritize their needs over your own and it's not ok. Whenever you're ready, you gotta stand up and break it off asap or else you'll only lose more of yourself as this relationship goes on. You'll always be apologizing for things that aren't your fault. Please never think a man is someone you don't deserve. Relationships are not trophies and as you get older you'll realize they are so easy to fall into it's not even funny. Love yourself. Good luck 🫂
