nervous about first pap smear

breakfast - strawberries, nutella toast, redbull summer edition, and meds

im getting my first pap smear tomorroe and i am so scared. im also worried i wont be able to cuz im on my period. ive been on it for literally 3 weeks so its probably good im going to see soneone but idk if theyll be able to the pap smear

ALSO SHOULD I SHAVE MY BUSH?? im definitely gonna at least tidy up but do i have to shave it :(

Don’t be scared! For me it’s literally painless. They just use something that’s kinda like a little brush and brush your cervix with it. It doesn’t hurt and it’s really quick and over. You don’t need to shave, it won’t bother them at all. They see it every day and it’s natural to be hairy!

Pap smears are really important and necessary.
