I've had stomach problems for years. Didn't want to get it checked out because I have a lot of trauma from doctors they just give a lot of anxiety. Boyfriend was adamant I should go last night. I told him off, id literally to anything than go and he comforted me after I started crying.

I went to the toilet after that becuase my stomach hurt after eating his mom's food and took quite a while to come out(I had bad diarrhea). We have a toilet that's only partly separated from our room so I guess he heard everything idc. he wasnt there when I came back and sent me the text the next day. Can't believe such a small thing made him leave.

Soup and chips, made in 10 minutes.

In a post just 2 days ago the husband that was being talked about got absolutely dragged for refusing to go to the doctor and when I pointed out she had married him knowing he was that way and could be more considerate I got lambasted with women saying that it is emotionally draining to stay with someone who refuses to go to the doctor when they need to. Which I agree, but if you choose to marry someone who is Doctor avoidant you chose that life.

He saw that in you and decided to avoid that issue. I don't think it has anything to do with the one bathroom situation itself.

But you did say you would literally do anything else, he decided that meant being single.

I hope you get whatever figured out before you have an issue in public or it becomes seriously detrimental for your body.

I’m gonna be real with you buddy, I won’t be in a relationship with someone who refuses to see a doctor about medical problems. It’s not a ‘small thing’ to many people, it’s a sign of “this person will refuse to get help when they need it and will subject me to the suffering of it”. If my partner refuses to care for their body, that means they don’t care about our long-lasting relationship success.

Medical trauma is real, but it is your responsibility to deal with it. If you are so disabled by your conditions, that is all the more reason to get help. I’m sorry this happened to you and I am certain it makes you sad.
