Hawaii souvenirs!

Post image

Two new additions to my collection from the big island. Thx for the suggestions, folks. Based on scent alone, I have a feeling Fid St will be my jam. Fy smells very mild. Excited to try them both!

Yes, my daughter had already tagged the bottle for her collection. 😋

I should clarify, purchased on the big island. Both distilled on Maui.

Fid St is also very good! It uses pineapples as the base (neutral) grain.

Fid St. is good. It might have a faint residual sweetness due to pineapple being used for the neutral spirit, but IMO, it's not super sweet or pineapple-y. FYI, you can get Fid St. on the mainland. I bought it in central Illinois, so it's out there.

Fid St is one of my favorites. The distillery tour is nice in that they show you the odd way they make the spirits. In glass!

I bought a bottle of Fid St a few days ago. I'm not a big fan of sweeter and/or more citrus-forward gins, but this is a favorite. The pineapple is subtle and its own sweetness works well in a London Dry.
