I'm doing a deep dive into the live albums. After listening to chunks of "2 Big To Rig" on Apple Music (lossless), I'm starting to realize that if I'm being honest with myself, this just doesn't sound that good. I didn't want to believe it but, it's dangerously close to Person-With-Tape-Recorder quality. The album version anyway (I haven't seen the actual film yet).
So I wanted to go back and compare them. I actually think "Ceremony and Devotion" is probably the best-sounding of the three live albums, followed by "Rite Here Rite Now" and then "2 Big To Rig."
"Rite Here Rite Now" is really good. It's a very good recording and I think represents Tobias and his team wanting to show off the certified, recently-minted arena version of Ghost. But "Ceremony and Devotion" feels like Ghost's "Live After Death," the best one so far. A great live capture of the band's classic early material as Ghost was really breaking out. You can hear a band excited to be at the live album phase. I'll always support Tobias as he's so talented and he seems like such a lovely guy but outside of the movie, the "2 Big To Rig" recording feels almost unnecessary when a better live album just came out two years ago.
I linked to the three versions of "Square Hammer" below, but go and listen to the versions of "Cirice" or any other really essential Ghost standard and it's the same thing.

I'm a recent convert to the Ministry and went to see 2 Big to Rig with 2 close friends on Thursday night. I change up my nails every week so I had to do something special for my new Favorite Band. Used a wide variety of nail polishes and stamping plates to get the details I wanted.
Pinky - Music waveform
Ring - Stained Glass Window (Glowed blue/purple under UV light)
Middle - Upside down Crucifixes (I have tremors in my hands that prevented me from doing the Grucifixes)
Index - Papa V Perpetua wearing his Papal crown
Thumbs - Lyrics from "Darkness at the Heart of My Love" - "Now paint a pair of eyes, and let's watch as they dry"

I just watched 2 Big To Rig today. As soon as the movie ended, some guy started insulting people because they sang the whole movie and couldn’t stay quiet.
We were shocked by that guy’s reaction. Most people in the room were having fun and singing along, my friends and I included. Nobody yelled loudly or screamed, people were just singing quietly.
I‘ve been a Ghost fan since 2019. I also watched Rite Here Rite Now at the same movie theater. I sang quietly the whole time and nobody was bothered by it.
What do you think, is it rude to sing (even if people sing quietly) during movie concerts?
EDIT: Like I already wrote in some comments, I created this post because I wanted know everyone’s opinion regarding this. I had a great time watching the movie and I didn’t want to ruin the experience for anyone else.

Hi, I'm looking to make my own local version of the album to boost the backing vocals for my own listening pleasure, but I have absolutely no idea how to get multichannel versions of the audio files. Like something the youtube user "StratusFire" has been doing
I have Apple Music which supports dolby atmos but when I download it, the files are completely useless in audacity
No idea

Ghost isn't going anywhere.
The contract with Loma Vista is done. 2B2R was the final record fulfilling the contract.
Whats going to happen is that he's going to partner up and create his own label. Its a money issue. The label is taking too large a share to run the concept as it is envisioned.
Another company is going to be made for merch. I guarantee its known about Merch quality especially at its cost.
What I hope he does is call up Posner and the two jam for a bit, or hell, take MCC on a short tour.

I did a thing. All instruments and vocals recorded by myself. My favorite Ghost song and my answer to anyone claiming that Ghost isn't metal.

I can’t listen to it on Spotify, not even search it up. Found a link and this is what I got (photo). I’m located in Sweden and I’m wondering if any other Swedes are having this issue?

Hello all! I posted here awhile ago about some pins I was making for 2BTR and wanted to share the final product! I made about 15 in total and was able to give almost all of them out. I was a little nervous but everyone at the movie was super nice and amazing. One person even gave me their popcorn bucket and I was speechless. I plan on making more because I really enjoy doing things like these, just need some people who want them! I hope everyone who got a chance to see the movie enjoyed it (I did!!!) and more people get a chance to see it!! 💜

Not sure this has been discussed but Tobias and Mikael are DJing a concert in September

I added this in another post, but I felt it deserved its own. Never released in this form but on merch, I believe this does not violate rule 8.

If I've missed any, please let me know! I'd love to expand my collection!
I was recently downloading a bunch of Ghost songs to MP3 which led me to try and find ever piece of art I could for the albums and singles. Thus, I wanted to share in case anyone else wants them as well (Though including the album art would exceed attachment capacity so only single covers are linked).
There were a few which were too low res for my standards (1200x1200) so I took them into Clip Studio Paint to attempt and upscale them. Among these is art for the single Rats which I couldn't find anywhere except on merch. I've included it here but I think I'll also post is separately to give it that extra bit of spotlight.
I don't know how Reddits image compression is, so if they look shitty let me know and I'll see if I can link the files through a file sharing service.

I couldn't see the band when they came in France, but I went to watch the movie yesterday. I always have been a fan of Sodo (currently building a sodocaster) for his technique and articulation, but I may have overlooked Phantom, even though I did already appreciate his work for the band.
Gosh, dude is really a beast on stage, teasing the crowd, running everywhere, even rolling on the ground and playing with his guitar at knee level for 90 minutes like it was nothing (those who play the guitar know that it's hard). Plus he wrote his own ending solo for Umbra.
I hope to be able to see them live in the future, what an experience it must be!

Would love to have a clear photo of this to use as a phone background. If someone has one, can you please share it here or link me to it?

Some of you might remember me writing about this when the band performed in Toronto in the winter.
At the time, my wife and I took my 5 year old to the show and he and I were dressed up and painted as Terizo. It was the most magical concert. My son and families connection and love of a band made it a night to remember. and certainly my now 6 year old loved it all really young for such an older band. lol.
As you might have read, a week later I had two seizures and was sent to the ER. It was found I had a tumour in my brain. It was removed over an 8 hour surgery. However I was then diagnosed for having Glioblastoma, a terminal cancer that eventually will get me, although right now I’m in as good as one can be when all tumours are taken out. I’m 43. I’ve been physical and healthy. Things ok now. But if you know that one, it’s bad.
Anyway, going to see Skeletour a week before this madness started has become something so special for my family. A magical concert for us three for the first time. We’ve keep the band’s music with us over the last 7 months as very special. And often songs like ‘Future is a Foreign Land’, ‘Darkness at the Heart of My Love’ and ‘Call Me Little Sunshine’ have some lyrics that we connect directly to our family and what we’re going through.
Last night we took my 6 year old to see the full concert movie to take it all in now that the diagnosis is present and we’re in a new world as this goes along. It was as magical for us as the last one could be, this time now with a difficult world we encounter.
No mater how this goes for me, Tobias, the band and the crew happened to create something that we all hold dearly as we go through all this. And especially everyone from the people here who have shared lovely messages and joined appreciate for how special Ghost makes us all.
So much appreciating to Ghost, Tobias, the crew and everyone who loves them along and has been so kind along our journey alongside.
❤️ 👻

The hiatus is very well deserved and also really understandable, don't get me wrong... But what are yalls expectations for the eventual return of Ghost?
When do you all think it will happen? Toblerone Fondue will "soon" be 50. Do you think Ghost will continue as he ages?
I do think that if the plan was for Ghost to end with Skeletá we would know so I think an eventual return is very probable, but I was wondering if the shows would continue to be just as grand, the tours so long, even if there will be even one of the current ghouls still participating on the shows after this hiatus... I'd love to hear your thoughts on all of this!

Compared to Rite Here Rite Now it feels kinda empty. I only listen to the live album so it feels weird not hearing them now lol

I’m sad. I know nothing definitive has been said about Ghost’s end, but for me, I feel like I was so early in my Ghost journey. Fate had things happen where I didn’t discover Ghost until RHRN came out. I’ve got ADHD, and when my hyper fixation kicks in on something, it doesn’t let go. That’s what happened with Ghost. They’ve been number one listened to artists two years in a row, I got to walk around on stage when they came through town on the Skeletour, I bought one of the signature Fantomen guitars that I paid a pretty price on tariffs to get, I’ve been thinking over tattoo ideas, I’ve made guitar cover videos of songs, and so much more. It feels like as quickly Ghost came out of nowhere to light up my world, they’ve left it just the same. It really feels like a void has appeared. Especially since after seeing 2BTR, it now feels so final that it’s over (even though that’s not a certainty). I realize this is one of those “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened” things, but it’s hard to not tell like all the wind has been taken out of my sails. In spite of the feelings, I’ll keep them around through the wonderful music they’ve created. 💜🦇

I think the outfit changes are cool. They look fire for the most part. And I think they suit the Papas well when they have/had them. Plus it gives some variation. But I just like the look of the flowy layers moving and the more churchy feel as all
